At the Boko Islamic Basic and Junior High Schools in Ghana (below), more than 300 students are receiving nutritious meals that you’ve packed and provided. Before the introduction of Feed the Hunger food, children struggled with hunger, which negatively impacted school attendance and participation. Students frequently stayed home, and the school even shortened teaching hours to accommodate the challenges families were facing.

Through this feeding initiative with our ministry partners at LIFE 3N Relief, school attendance has improved, and teaching hours have returned to normal. The parents are amazed and grateful that a Christian organization would come to the aid of an Islamic school. The care and support being shown to the children meets practical needs while demonstrating Christ’s love to the entire community.

Monthly support for food purchases in Haiti makes a life-changing difference for the students at Valley of Hope (below). Most of these children live in families that can barely afford enough food to survive. Thank you for providing nourishing lunches to these schoolchildren five days a week. While ongoing challenges have made it difficult to transport food boxes safely within the country, these additional funds have become a true blessing and an answered prayer for children and their families in their time of need.

“We were able to feed the kids five days a week this month. A great impact has been made. Thank you so much for making that happen.” — Maxeau, Feed the Hunger partner in Haiti
We are excited to share the beginning of a new partnership with Umzamo Day Care, located in the informal settlement in Reservoir Hills, a suburb of Durban, South Africa. For years, the center’s director, Nomsa, has faithfully cared for at-risk children despite extremely challenging conditions.
Recently, the daycare received a life-changing gift when shipping containers were donated to serve as classroom shelter, providing a safe space for learning (below). They had basic cooking facilities, but lacked the resources needed to provide daily meals for the children.

In response to this need, Feed the Hunger committed to helping ensure that the children receive the nutritious meals you provide each day. In addition, meal packs are being sent home with families facing severe food insecurity so that the care for these children continues at home and reaches those most in need.
This relationship is an opportunity to bring nourishment and the love of Jesus to some of the most vulnerable people in this community. We are grateful for your generosity, which makes this outreach possible, and we look forward to seeing God use it to make a lasting impact on the lives of many children and their families.
