You Will Want to Read This—in March

A pastor whose family fled from Al-Qaeda . . .

A missionary whom God has used to supernaturally heal many . . .

A leader in the underground church in his country . . .

What do these believers and many others have in common? Hey, this is just a teaser. You have to keep reading to know what you need to receive via email in March. Let me back up before revealing the answer.

December and January were supposed to be my window to write the next month-long devotional on Easter. But it was really busy for the ministry over the final month of 2016. Also, my father-in-law’s health declined, and a few weeks later he passed away. The morning after his funeral, my father unexpectedly passed away as well. No devotional writing was possible. I would have done an injustice to God’s Word and to the reader had I pursued writing under these circumstances.

A staff member had the great idea of having our national and international partners write one or two daily devotionals each, and I was quickly excited about the idea. I know them and their hearts to serve the Lord and the needy. If you are a friend of our ministry, you may be aware of their respective ministries. We often share their stories and what’s taking place through them. But that’s not what this next devotional will contain.

I asked 16 partners from 14 countries to write about whatever was on their hearts and then share it with you. I gave them no restrictions whatsoever, trusting that this was the Lord’s project and that He would create a powerful compilation without my input. And so He did. I wrote an introduction and also included two messages from my dad that he wrote the month before he passed away.

What I can’t stress enough to you is how powerful these daily devotionals are. These saints drew from their decades of ministry experience—the good, the bad, and the ugly. They will be sharing with you some of the most important lessons they’ve learned, the biblical truths they deemed most crucial, the messages closest to their hearts.

You can begin each day in March hearing from one of these dear believers. Who will it be on a particular day? What country are they from? What is their message? I’m convinced you will be encouraged and energized throughout the month of March and the days ahead.

If you would like to receive this devotional by email each day starting on March 1st, you can sign up here. You won’t regret it!
