Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is causing chaos, destruction, and the world’s fastest-developing humanitarian crisis. Food supplies will run out soon, and the staggering number of new refugees is only growing. Our partners in Ukraine and Moldova have plans in place to get Packathon food and relief supplies to refugees in Ukraine, Poland, and Moldova.
Vitaliy, our Ukrainian partner, is working hard to provide shelter and food for thousands of people. Victor, our partner in neighboring Moldova, is housing several families in his home and is attempting to find housing for several hundred more. He tells us that this will likely not be a short-term challenge, but their resolve is strong.
