Whether providing relief for the persecuted, supporting survivors of natural disasters, or standing in the gap for a neighbor here at home, our mission is to feed both the physical and spiritual hunger of those in need.
Nestled in the Himalayan mountains of South Asia lies the country of Nepal. On August 26, a massive section of the Langtang Lirung glacier broke away, triggering a landslide that tore through the river valleys of northern Nepal. Some areas buried under as much as 26 feet of mud and rock. Over 5,000 people are still missing, and more than 1,400 have lost their lives. Entire towns have been wiped out, leaving thousands crowded into temporary shelters. These families need more than food and shelter. They need the comfort and peace that only Jesus can bring. Our partner in Nepal has begun distributing gas stoves and fuel, quilts, bedding, and other essential supplies, meeting urgent physical needs while showing the love of Jesus in the process.
