For many years, the primary method of outreach for New Directions was J.L.’s teaching and preaching coupled with an interracial singing group that traveled throughout the US and abroad. In the last decade, Feed the Hunger has continued this commitment to go wherever God opens a door through a hands-on food packing event called the Packathon.
On August 8–11, 2018, we will be holding the 50th Anniversary Packathon and Open House. 500,000 servings of nutritious food will be packaged and unconditionally given out to the needy both here and around the world. This is done through a Christian network that is always ready to share the Gospel. Please fill out the form to volunteer for a two-hour shift packing food. Then visit our headquarters in Graham, North Carolina, and tour the new Legacy Room, which was created to share the 50-year journey that God has given us through partnership with people like you.
