God has graciously revealed himself to us through Scripture. As Paul reminds Timothy, “All Scripture is God-breathed” and is able to make us “wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15–16). Because the Bible comes from God, we can trust it as our foundation for knowing him, understanding his purposes, and living in obedience to him.
But Scripture does more than inform what we believe. It also shapes how we live. God’s Word teaches, corrects, encourages, and equips us for every good work. It reveals the good news of Jesus Christ and calls us to reflect his character in our relationships, our communities, and our service to others.
As we bring our prayers and praises before the Lord this week, may we be reminded that our work begins with him and is sustained by him. May his Word continue to shape our hearts, deepen our faith, and guide our hands as we seek to share the love of Christ with those experiencing spiritual and physical hunger around the world.
