Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday are now in the rearview mirror. We have finished bountiful meals at Thanksgiving, and our nation has moved full swing into the Christmas season. Since today is Giving Tuesday, we wanted to share with you some time-sensitive opportunities in which to invest and participate as part of the mission God has given us.
As you have heard from us in the last couple of months, our foreign and US-based partners have plans for significant Christmas outreach this month. You can read more about it here. In fact, these ministry activities begin as early as next week, so please consider helping the needy and reaching the lost by investing now.
Next week (December 8–10) is our annual Christmas Packathon located at the Holly Hill Mall & Business Center in Burlington, North Carolina. From all of us at Feed the Hunger, we thank you for partnering with us. With thousands of devotionals and Bibles distributed and millions of meals packed in 2016, this spiritual and physical food has only been made possible by God’s hand of blessing through your giving, volunteering, and going.
At times, the road has been both arduous and rewarding, but we are so glad God uses flawed people like us to advance His kingdom for His glory. We have already been given the greatest gift of all, and that is salvation. What else can we do in return, but give our lives in service to Him by serving others?!
